Once you’ve been alone for so long, and been screwed over so many times, it feels unnatural when someone genuinely wants to be with you, you don’t wanna get attached because it’ll end up like all the other times. It’s like you know it won’t work, you won’t allow yourself to be truly happy. You’ve gotten to the point where you’ve convinced yourself no one will ever love you.
